These aren't vinyl records. These are true dubplates, cut by a Dubplates & Mastering engineer onto MDC lacquers from Japan. This means that they're composed of nitrocellulose coated onto an aluminum plate - they look, feel, and even smell different than vinyl records, but can be played on a normal turntable with a normal cartridge/needle. Compared to a vinyl record, these dubplates have extremely reflective surfaces, a slight purple tinge around the edges where you can see the metal plate, and are more rigid.

They offer pristine audio quality, but the grooves are less durable. They're also very expensive to produce, which is why the quantity is so limited.
