This was my favorite release of 2019. It's hard to pull off variations-on-a-theme sort of works, but the album varies its use of common source material extremely effectively and gives the album a mood that perfectly matches the artwork. Of the various releases I've heard that I would classify as post-Burial, this is the one I'd recommend first.
